From FESS to Long Fusion
Our hospital covers nearly all the latest and cutting-edge techniques in spinal surgeries as part of our spinal outpatient services.

For conditions like lumbar disc herniation and lumbar spinal stenosis, we offer surgeries like FESS performed through an 8mm incision, which is a minimally invasive approach, as well as procedures like MED performed through a 16-18mm incision.
We also provide multi-level fusion surgeries for spinal deformities and instabilities.

While many patients with spinal disorders find relief through conservative treatments such as medication, injections, physical therapy, and braces, there are cases where surgical intervention becomes necessary to prevent severe complications, functional impairments, and long-term sequelae, in order to regain a better quality of life.

Our hospital was conceived and designed with the purpose of providing patients in need of surgical intervention with advanced and safe techniques in a sincere manner. Through a comprehensive conference involving a team of specialized spine doctors and other experts, we carefully assess each patient's condition and discuss appropriate treatment options. With the collaboration of multiple specialists, we strive to create the safest and most secure environment.

When there are multiple treatment options available, we don't make the decision for you. Instead, we provide clear explanations of all available treatments, including conservative approaches, highlighting the pros and cons of each, allowing patients to make informed decisions.

Our goal is to provide every patient with clear and comprehensible medical care tailored to their individual needs.

Message from the Director

Spinal Surgery is a specialized field that focuses on the surgical treatment of the spine. Well-known conditions like cervical and lumbar disc herniation are more common among young and middle-aged individuals, while degenerative conditions such as cervical spondylotic myelopathy and lumbar spinal stenosis are relatively common in older adults.

In both cases, symptoms such as nerve pain, numbness, and motor deficits in the upper and lower extremities can greatly impact daily and social activities. While non-surgical treatments may provide relief in some cases, there are many instances where surgical intervention is recommended by spinal specialists.

Our spinal specialists thoroughly examine each patient and, when necessary, recommend surgical intervention. The highly skilled medical staff, along with a team of trained professionals, ensure that surgeries, post-operative care, and rehabilitation are tailored to each patient's needs, enabling a swift recovery and early return to normal life.

Located near Meiji Shrine's lush greenery, Sangubashi Spine Surgery Hospital provides a serene environment despite its central location. The design of patient rooms and rooftop gardens has been meticulously planned to create spaces that offer a peaceful and comforting atmosphere. We understand the pain and discomfort patients have endured, and we aim to be a guiding light for them as they navigate their way through surgery, putting their fears to rest and entrusting their treatment to us.

Our dedicated team is committed to ensuring that every patient receives the care they deserve. We encourage you to reach out to us for a consultation, as we are here to help and guide you every step of the way.
